PSL 8 Points Table

The tournament will be played in two venues this time. PSL 8 Points Table Criteria
PSL is played according to a double round-robin format. Each team will face other teams twice in the group stage and the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs. The rules and regulations of the tournament are in accordance with the rules of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The point system implemented in the PSL 7 Points Table is the same as the point system in previous seasons or in any other ICC-sanctioned franchise T20 league worldwide. The teams that have accumulated the most points after 10 group stage matches will qualify accordingly. The teams that finish in the top four on the PSL points table will advance to the next round. Two points are awarded for a win, one for no result, and zero for a loss. The winner will be decided by super over if the match ends in a draw within twenty overs.
In a super over, both teams will play one over and the team with the most runs in the dead will be declared the winner and awarded two points.

What is the PSL points table?
The points table list all PSL team’s standings based on their wins and losses. Each of the six teams plays ten matches during the group stage. The top four of the six teams at the end of the tournament proceed to the play-off stage.
How many points are earned for each win?
Each team is awarded 2 points for each win. There is only 1 point in case of no result or a tie. No points are awarded if the match is called-off or canceled.
What happens when teams have equal points?
Interestingly, this is very common in a league like PSL to have 2 or more teams having an equal number of wins, losses, or tied matches. This results in teams ending up with equal points on the table. In such cases, teams can qualify for playoffs based on the net run rate.
